Mold Base Attributes Configuration

The dialog window shown below allows you to configure the manner in which SoftMold creates mold bases. You can control the level number that each component is created on, along with the level descriptor and other attributes of the component. Once you have the configurated the mold base modular, SoftMold will create mold bases using these settings.For additional information see the following topics.

Selection Controls
Mold Base Type
Use this control to select the type of mold base to configure.

Parent level
Use this control to select the parent level you want to work with.

Component Selector
The Component selector is located on the lower left of the dialog window. When you click an item in this control the Attribute values for that component are loaded into the edit controls on the right side of the dialog window.
     




Edit Controls

The Edit controls are located along the right side of the dialog window. You must press the save button for any changes you make to be stored. If you move off the current record or press the cancel button the values will revert to there prior values. Please use these controls the the following manner.

Parent Level
Allows you to move a component from one parent level to another parent level or key in the name of a new parent level. At this time, each component must belong to a parent level.

Component Level
Enter the component level descriptor in this control.

Level Number
The level number to create the component on.

Line Type
Use this list control to select the line style to uses when creating the component.


Line Width
Use this list control to select the line width to uses when creating the component.

Pen Number
Use this list control to select the pen number to uses when creating the component.

Color Button
Use this command button to open the color selection dialog. Uses this dialog to select the components color.





Command Buttons
Clicking these buttons will allow you to execute different
functions, see the topics below.


Save
Saves the values you have entered in the edit controls for the selected component. After editing a component's values click this button to save the changes to the data base. Old values are lost.

Cancel
Reloads the selected components settings from the data base and resets any values you have changed in the edit fields to the values stored in the data base.

Ok button

Closes this dialog window , the active record is not saved.
